Most people using AI in their job search are still doing all the hard work themselves. They search for jobs, decide whether they’re qualified, research the company, figure out how to customize their resume, look for contacts, write networking messages, apply, and then try to remember to follow up.

I’ve built a system that connects those steps into one AI-powered job search workflow.

First, you teach the system who you are, what you’ve accomplished, and what kind of job you want. Then it searches for opportunities and prequalifies them for you. When you decide to pursue one, it reviews your experience, asks any necessary qualification questions, recommends resume changes, prepares your cover letter and positioning, finds networking contacts, writes your outreach, and helps you follow up after applying.

It also maintains a Candidate Evidence Ledger so the system gets smarter about your experience over time. At the end of each week, it reviews what you’ve learned and looks for additional jobs, industries, or career directions you may now qualify for.

You still make the important decisions and build the relationships. The system handles most of the research, analysis, preparation, and writing.

Before You Begin

This course will help you build your own AI-powered job search operating system based on the same reverse recruiting process I use with private clients. To run the complete system, you will need:

Google account and Google Drive
Free. Your Google Drive will hold your Candidate Evidence Ledger and other career information the system can reference.

Trello
Free. You will receive the Trello job-search board structure used to manage opportunities and move jobs through the process.

Text Blaze, highly recommended
Approximately $36 per year. Text Blaze allows you to launch the longer prompts quickly instead of repeatedly finding, copying, and pasting them.

Paid ChatGPT account
The system relies on ChatGPT Projects, your career documents, detailed job-search prompts, and integrations. Plan on approximately $20 per month for the appropriate individual paid ChatGPT plan.

Don’t worry about setting everything up before starting the course. The first module will walk you through each tool and help you build the system step by step.
