Thank you for coming out to learn how to use ChatGPT and AI tools for your job search!! The slides and ATS Guide I promised are below, plus I included a few more links and resources to help you learn ChatGPT as well.
Update: Regarding the video, I have good news and bad news. I’ll start with the bad news so I can finish on a positive note. Unfortunately there was an issue with the audio recording, so I cannot post the video of the live event here.
The good news is that will give me a chance to create short, individual videos for each topic so you can find what you need faster, focus on one thing at a time, and they can be updated more easily as the technology being discussed changes. We covered a lot more than what was in those slides anyway (a 45-min. presentation lasted 1 hour 41 minutes of great conversations), so adding them here on this page for you will be better for all.
Since I record how-to videos before/after work and on weekends, this may take awhile, but I’ll post them here one by one the minute they are ready. Thank you for your patience with this process.
The presentation slides in pdf form can be downloaded by clicking the red, Get Slides button below. I also promised to include my ATS Compatibility Guide on this page for you, and you can click the ATS button to get it.
I briefly mentioned a site I use for learn more about Prompt Engineering, here is that link:
https://learnprompting.org/docs/intro
To see a wide variety of capabilities of ChatGPT using a variety of prompts (not job search focused, just to show capabilities), check out this video to the right. This is from Matt Wolf, the same guy who created the free AI Tool Resource site: https://futuretools.io
Although the video thumbnail is a bad screenshot capture I took (since the original wouldn’t show up), the video is family friendly (no foul language) and he does a great job of explaining new uses for ChatGPT. Just click the image to the right to watch. To stay up on recent AI news, subscribe to his channel!
If you check out our YouTube channel, you’ll find lots more videos to help with your job search.
During the meeting I discussed Text Blaze, a Chrome extension. See how it works here.
